- Tulip Queen of the Night (Single late). One of the most popular of all the dark flowered types and deservedly so! Deep velvety maroon, cup-shaped flowers are produced on very strong and tall stems making it a border favourite.
- Tulip First Star (Triumph).Ā Much admired for its glossy, deep maroon red flowers which appear on tall and elegant stems during April and May. It really is a spectacular variety and definitely one to try.
